Skills and Experience Desired:
- Current or pending SLP licensure in the state
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience in school-based and/or pediatric environments
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapy approaches for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Experience in healthcare or educational SLP settings highly valued
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals tailored to each student
- Provide direct therapy and monitor progress toward communication objectives
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student outcomes
- Maintain thorough documentation and comply with state and federal regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and team conferences as needed
- Offer guidance and resources to families and school staff on speech-language topics
