Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid State of South Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist license
- South Carolina teacher certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Prior experience delivering speech and language services in a school or similar pediatric setting
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with students, educators, and families
- Experience with diverse caseloads, IEP processes, and school documentation preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for PreK-8th grade students
- Develop and execute individualized treatment plans to address each student’s needs
- Participate in IEP meetings, maintaining clear and thorough documentation
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to foster student progress
- Utilize evidence-based practices and interventions to facilitate student communication skills
- Consult and partner with classroom teachers for strategies and accommodations
- Monitor and report on each student's progress toward therapy goals
