Desired Qualifications:

  • Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Certification in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience working in school-based settings, especially with elementary and middle school students
  • Comprehensive understanding of K-8 educational standards and developmental milestones
  • Skilled in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Strong communication, organization, and record-keeping abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ communication challenges and provide targeted interventions
  • Develop and implement IEPs tailored to enhance student growth and participation
  • Maintain thorough, compliant documentation of progress and services provided
  • Partner with teachers, families, and school staff to foster student success
  • Adapt therapy methods to address student diversity and learning needs
  • Attend and contribute to school meetings and professional development as required
