Location: Colchester, VT
Hours: 37.5 per week
Caseload Age Group: Elementary
Caseload Size: 40-80 students
Duration: Maternity leave coverage, mid-April through the end of June
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to elementary students
- Assess and monitor communication skills, adapting interventions as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with school policies and regulations
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working with elementary-aged children in educational settings
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorder treatment strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and school staff
- Ability to manage a caseload of up to 80 students while maintaining high-quality care
