This is an exciting opportunity for Speech-Language Pathologists seeking a rewarding contract position in an educational setting near Coalinga, CA. As an SLP in this role, you’ll collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to help students reach their communication goals. You’ll have the autonomy to develop and implement individualized therapy plans, conduct assessments, and contribute to IEP meetings—making a meaningful impact on students’ academic and social success. Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders
- Current California SLP license or eligibility
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience with school-aged children in elementary, middle, and/or high school settings
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage a full-time caseload independently
- Familiarity with IEP documentation and compliance
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in individual and group settings
- Conduct accurate speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to students’ unique needs
- Participate in IEP meetings, provide input on student progress, and document outcomes
- Educate and collaborate with families, educators, and support staff
- Maintain detailed records in compliance with state and federal requirements
