Speech Language Pathologist in Indio, CA

This full-time, full-school year SLP opportunity is based onsite in Indio, CA, within a vibrant school district serving a diverse student population. The position is ideal for speech-language pathologists holding a CCC, with a strong preference for bilingual Spanish speakers. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language services to students, including those with mild to moderate needs and some with severe disabilities
- Work with students using AAC devices as part of communication support
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in compliance with district and state requirements
- Collaborate closely with school staff and families to ensure effective speech therapy outcomes
- Potentially serve as an itinerant therapist, supporting multiple schools within the district
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clearance (COC) to work in California schools
- Experience with SEIS (Special Education Information System)
- Familiarity with California Medicaid programs (Paradigm)
- Previous speech therapy experience in school settings
