Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current, valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Experience working with school-aged children preferred
  • Knowledge of IEP processes and experience with conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapy
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other support staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students referred by educational staff or parents
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and set measurable goals based on each student’s unique needs
  • Provide direct therapy services in individual, small group, or classroom settings
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and families to support student success
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation on student progress and therapy outcomes
  • Offer guidance and professional development resources to staff regarding speech and language concerns
