Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Clinton Township, Michigan

Embark on a contract position providing critical support to high school students by delivering speech-language services in a dynamic educational environment. This full-time, in-person opportunity offers regular weekday hours—Monday through Friday from 7:15am to 2:15pm—and is available immediately, running through June 11, 2027.
Candidates with expertise in providing speech-language services within schools, healthcare settings, pediatrics, teletherapy, and those who have completed or are working on their CFY or hold CCC are encouraged to apply. Support for both SLPs and SLPAs is welcomed, especially for those passionate about working with general education students in grades 9-12.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s or Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program
- Valid, current state licensure/certification (SLP-CCC, CFY, SLPA)
- Experience with adolescent or high school student populations, preferably in educational or healthcare settings
- Familiarity with Section 504 Plan procedures and compliance
- Skilled in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (counselors, teachers, staff)
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor student progress and contribute to grade reviews
- Oversee and ensure compliance with Section 504 Plans
- Serve as a liaison between families, faculty, and other school professionals through various channels
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to a collaborative school culture
- Engage in parent communications, including emails, calls, and meetings
- Provide direct support tailored to identified student needs; details provided upon onboarding
