Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Clermont, FL

This contract position seeks two passionate Speech-Language Pathologists—one for a full-time and one for a part-time opening—dedicated to making a difference in elementary education. Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Professional License in Speech-Language Pathology
- School-based experience strongly preferred, though candidates with clinical or other relevant backgrounds will be considered
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches and communication style to reach K-5 student populations
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration abilities with students, staff, and families
Position Details:
- Full-Time: 37.5 hours per week, 8 hours/day (2 schools split: Fruitland Park Elementary and Leesburg Elementary)
- Part-Time: 22.5 hours per week (3 days/week), serving Umatilla Elementary
- School day is 8 hours with a 30-minute unpaid break
- Caseload details to be provided before onboarding
- Contract dates: August 10, 2026 – May 28, 2027
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy to students with communication needs
- Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and document progress
- Consult with teachers and caregivers to support generalization of skills in the classroom
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate to foster an inclusive educational environment
- Comply with district and state documentation and reporting requirements
