Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- School-based experience or strong interest in working within educational settings
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy to a diverse elementary and/or secondary student population, averaging 50-55 students per SLP
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and monitor progress toward student goals
- Collaborate with fellow SLPs, teachers, families, and other special education staff to facilitate student success
- Maintain up-to-date records and comply with all documentation requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and relevant team initiatives as a valued team member
