Key Qualifications:
- Illinois Professional Educator License with SLP endorsement
- Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish
- Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in early childhood and elementary education
- Ability to manage caseloads across multiple school settings if assigned itinerant responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language services to early childhood and elementary students
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student communication goals
- Provide services in both English and Spanish to meet the needs of bilingual students
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state licensing and educational requirements
