Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active California SLP license or eligibility
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) welcomed, but CFYs considered
- Strong background in pediatric speech and language services, with school-based or healthcare experience preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Compassionate, student-centered approach
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for K-12 students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in partnership with families and educational staff
- Track student progress, maintain thorough documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
- Deliver individual and group therapy sessions tailored to various student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, psychologists, and other support professionals
- Provide consultation and support to parents and staff regarding student communication challenges
