Key Skills and Experience:
- Active SLP licensure and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Prior school-based SLP experience working with diverse student populations
- Demonstrated proficiency with speech/language assessments, IEP development, and progress monitoring
- Strong collaboration abilities with educators, administrators, and support staff
- Ability to document services and meet compliance standards in educational settings
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver one-on-one and group speech-language therapy sessions to students as mandated by IEPs
- Assess, identify, and develop intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
- Stay up-to-date on best practices and regulatory changes relevant to school-based SLP work
- Consult with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ language and communication goals
- Maintain detailed records and communicate progress toward IEP objectives
