Qualifications and Desired Skills:
- Active California Speech-Language Pathology license required
- Experience with pediatric populations, especially in school or preschool settings
- Open to candidates with SLP-CCC or those seeking Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Knowledgeable in best practices for working with students with diverse communication needs
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities with teachers, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for preschool students
- Deliver speech and language therapy in both individual and group settings
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reporting in compliance with state standards
- Collaborate closely with Special Day Class teachers and related service providers
- Serve as a supportive resource for families, offering guidance on communication development
