A specialized contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide Extended School Year (ESY) services in Ludlow, MA, working with high school students in a unique educational program. This assignment is designed for professionals experienced in AAC services within a school setting, focusing on supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and other learning differences.

- Client’s main office located in West Springfield, MA
Assignment Details:
- Contract duration: July 6, 2026 – August 7, 2026
- Potential for consideration to continue into the 2026/2027 school year based on performance
- Approximately 15-20 hours per week, distributed over 2-3 days
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language support to high school students enrolled in the Compass High Program, a specialized setting emphasizing personalized and supportive education
- Deliver AAC-related services, ensuring communication needs of students with ASD or other learning differences are met effectively
- Collaborate with educational staff to enhance skill-building for independence outside traditional classroom environments
Qualifications:
- Valid state certification/licensure for SLP services in schools
- Experience working with high school students, ideally with ASD or similar learning differences
- Familiarity with AAC services, though AAC evaluations are not required for this role
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work within a multidisciplinary team
