Spend two days each week delivering direct services across 1-2 classrooms in the Oroville/Paradise area, collaborating with staff and fostering student potential.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Ability to supervise SLPAs or a willingness to provide oversight
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to working with diverse student populations
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide direct speech and language therapy to students
- Maintain appropriate documentation for progress and services delivered
- Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families
- Offer supervision and mentorship to Speech-Language Pathology Assistants as needed
- Travel as required to locations within the Oroville/Paradise area for in-person services
- Participate in IEP meetings, team discussions, and student progress reviews
