This contract-to-hire position is ideal for a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist seeking part-time work with flexibility and the possibility of a long-term placement. You will support approximately 29 students with diverse needs, working between 15 to 20 hours per week.
Your experience as an SLP—whether you are a Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) candidate or hold your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)—will be valued as you help students achieve their communication goals in an educational setting.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state license in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA certification (CCC) or eligibility for CFY
- Previous experience in a school setting is a strong plus
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Role Highlights:
- Manage a manageable caseload of about 29 students
- Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and implement speech and language interventions
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and other support staff
- Maintain thorough and confidential records for all services provided
- Attend and participate in IEP and team meetings as needed
- Provide recommendations to support students’ educational progress
