Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure as required
- Strong foundation in evaluation and evidence-based treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Prior experience in school or pediatric settings is preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency needs
- Provide direct therapy in individual and group settings, adapting methods to best support each student
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate communication goals into the school environment
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Offer ongoing education and resources to families and school staff, fostering a supportive network
- Participate in professional development to maintain best practices and compliance with current standards
