This full-time, onsite Speech Language Pathologist position in Chicago, IL, offers the opportunity to work within a school setting. The role involves managing a diagnostic caseload alongside a small early childhood group of approximately 9-10 students. The position is contract-based, providing comprehensive support within an educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and diagnostics.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students.
- Provide direct therapy services to early childhood and other students as assigned.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and services.
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License.
- Professional Educator License (PEL) in Illinois.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) as an SLP.
- Experience working in educational settings is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
