School Speech Language Pathologist - Aurora, Illinois
This opportunity is for a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized support at an elementary school in Aurora, IL. The position is full-time and runs on a contract basis from ASAP through the end of the school year (EOSY). You will work with an elementary caseload at a single school site, delivering essential speech and language services that support student communication development and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and screenings for students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with speech or language impairments.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal setting.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility for Speech-Language Pathologists.
- Current Speech-Language Pathology licensure or certification in a school setting.
- Proficiency in bilingual communication, fluent in English and Spanish preferred.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families.
