What You'll Bring:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Illinois SLP license and PEL (or eligibility)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Previous experience in school settings or with pediatric populations
- Bilingual fluency (Spanish/English strongly preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Passion for supporting elementary-aged children
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students on your assigned caseload
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and maintain timely documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to align student progress with academic goals
- Deliver culturally and linguistically appropriate interventions for bilingual students
- Foster a supportive and engaging therapy environment within the elementary school
- Attend team meetings, participate in professional development, and contribute to school initiatives
