School Speech Pathology | Chicago, Illinois
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Chicago, IL, serving a K-12 school setting during the current school year (CSY). This role focuses on providing early childhood caseload services with a schedule of Monday through Friday, totaling 32.5 hours per week. The position requires in-person attendance and no supervision of Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs).
Key Qualifications:
- Holds appropriate SLP credentials such as Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), state licensure, or is a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidate
- Experience working with school-age children in K-12 educational environments
- Strong knowledge of early childhood communication and language development
- Ability to implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators and families
- Familiarity with school-based documentation and billing procedures
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering speech-language therapy services to early childhood students
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals
- Conducting assessments and maintaining accurate progress monitoring documentation
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to Individualized Education Program (IEP) planning
- Ensuring compliance with school policies and ethical practice standards

Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 32.5 hours/week
Duration: Current school year (CSY)
In-person presence required; SLPA supervision not included
