Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
- Active South Carolina SLP license and South Carolina teaching certificate required
- Experience with school-aged (K-12) populations preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, staff, and families
- Commitment to fostering positive student outcomes
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for students in accordance with IEPs and school policies
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to K-12 students onsite
- Participate in IEP meetings, provide recommendations, and communicate progress with IEP teams
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate communication strategies into the classroom
