A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for a travel assignment in the Chattanooga, TN area, servicing multiple elementary schools within a school district. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy to elementary school students
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff through meetings and consultations
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Comply with state and federal education regulations and guidelines
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Tennessee SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Tennessee Department of Education Certification
- Valid fingerprint clearance in compliance with background check requirements
- Experience working with elementary age groups preferred
- Ability to manage caseloads across multiple school settings
Schedule and Location:
- Start date: ASAP through May 21, 2026
- Full-time; 37.5 hours per week with typical hours from 7:15 AM to 4:15 PM; some flexibility may be offered
- Assignment includes travel to up to three schools within the Chattanooga area
