Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Charlotte, Michigan

Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Michigan SLP license (required)
- Background in pediatric speech-language therapy, particularly within early childhood settings
- Experience conducting both speech/language and multidisciplinary assessments for young learners
- Comfort working exclusively on site in a school-based environment
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and related service professionals
- Prior exposure to caseloads involving children with complex developmental needs is highly valued
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete detailed early childhood evaluations for PreK students, including speech, language, and multidisciplinary components
- Work closely with teachers, special educators, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized plans
- Provide direct therapy services, monitor progress, and adjust approaches as needed
- Participate in eligibility and planning meetings, sharing insights to support best outcomes for young learners
- Offer guidance and support to families regarding communication development and intervention strategies
