We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellow) to join a supportive school district in the Richmond, Virginia area. Responsibilities
- Conduct speech-language evaluations and interpret assessment results.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students' IEP goals.
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services.
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and related service providers.
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and Medicaid billing (if applicable).
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Support students with articulation, language, fluency, voice, pragmatics, AAC, and other communication needs.
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and district regulations.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active Virginia SLP License or eligibility for licensure.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply.
- Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) license or eligibility preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Experience
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience.
- Experience working with students from preschool through high school.
- Familiarity with IEP development and special education processes.
- Experience with AAC devices, autism spectrum disorders, and diverse communication disorders is a plus.
