This opportunity offers a unique chance for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services within a K-12 school setting, serving students from kindergarten through 8th grade. With a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, you will support a caseload ranging from 40 to 60 students, fostering communication skills that are vital for their academic growth and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to students from K-8th grade.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct evaluations and progress assessments in accordance with best practices and school policies.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress.
- Participate in team meetings and parent conferences as needed to support student success.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
- Candidates holding a Certificate of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) may be considered in exceptional cases.
- Experience working in a school-based setting, ideally K-12.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to manage a caseload of 40-60 students efficiently.
