Middle School Elementary Clinical Fellow SLP in Jupiter, FL
Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by providing exceptional speech-language pathology services across a variety of age groups. This full-time, 35-hour-per-week contract role is perfect for passionate SLP-CFYs and SLPs eager to work with early childhood, elementary, middle, or high school populations. Multiple positions are available, each offering a supportive and collaborative environment with supervision for Clinical Fellowship Year candidates provided by experienced staff SLPs.
Ideal Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Florida provisional SLP license or full FL SLP licensure required
- Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology or eagerness to gain expertise in school-based settings
- Strong interest in working with diverse age ranges, including early childhood through high school students
- Solid communication skills and the ability to engage students, families, and educational teams effectively
- Commitment to evidence-based therapy and inclusive education practices
Areas of Responsibility:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and direct therapy for students with communication disorders
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans and goals tailored to each student's needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and allied professionals to support students’ educational plans
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to documentation, and maintain accurate program records
- Foster a nurturing, positive environment that encourages student growth and participation
