Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders
- Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Ability to obtain or hold state licensure
- Passion for supporting students with diverse language, speech, and communication needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Adaptability and the ability to thrive in a school setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students per IEPs and referral requirements
- Assess and document the speech, language, and communication abilities of students
- Develop targeted intervention strategies tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Maintain detailed and accurate records, including progress notes and reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning for students
- Stay current with evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology
