School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Castle Rock, Washington

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing speech-language pathology services to students across elementary, middle, and high school levels for the 2026-2027 academic year. You’ll play a vital part in supporting children with a range of disabilities—from mild to severe—while collaborating closely with staff and families to foster the best possible outcomes. This onsite role requires a presence Monday through Friday, seven hours each school day.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current Washington State SLP license (Department of Health).
- Valid Washington State OSPI ESA license with SLP endorsement (fully licensed required).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Prior experience in school-based settings and familiarity working with diverse student populations is preferred.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Strong commitment to ethical, student-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students for speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and conduct individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with educators and families.
- Deliver direct therapy services to students with a wide range of disabilities, monitoring and documenting progress regularly.
- Serve as a resource on communication strategies for teachers and parents.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide input for student placement or interventions.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all services meet federal, state, and district requirements.
