Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to a rewarding contract opportunity in the Longview area, supporting students from elementary through high school during the 2026-2027 academic year. This role is based onsite in a welcoming school environment, Monday through Friday, with full-time daytime hours that enable you to provide meaningful intervention and support.

Qualifications & Desired Experience

  • Active Washington State certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology, meeting standards for school-based practice
  • Experience working with school-aged children, especially across diverse disability ranges
  • Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
  • Familiarity with best practices for IEP development and interdisciplinary collaboration

Role Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students from elementary to high school
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations for a broad spectrum of disabilities (mild to severe)
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals for assigned caseload
  • Foster collaborative relationships with educators, families, and support staff
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
  • Use both virtual (Zoom) and in-person communication for meetings and parent conferences
