Desired Background & Skills
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current or eligible for state licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship (CFY) candidates considered
- Pediatric experience, preferably in a school or teletherapy setting
- Familiarity with IEP processes, evaluations, and goal writing
- Strong collaboration skills with educational teams, families, and caregivers
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans addressing a range of communication challenges
- Deliver direct therapy, primarily onsite, to students in accordance with their IEPs
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and regulatory protocols
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations and progress updates
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to foster holistic student development
