School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Carmel, Indiana
This contract role offers the opportunity to deliver speech-language pathology services to K-5 students within a vibrant K-12 school setting in Carmel, IN. Serving a caseload of approximately 60 students, you will provide direct support following an established schedule developed by the previous speech-language pathologist transitioning to a leadership position. This position requires a commitment of 37.5 hours per week, five days per week, for the duration of the contract from March 1, 2026, through May 28, 2026.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Indiana
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working in school settings preferred, specifically with K-5 age groups
- Familiarity with teletherapy and School-based SLP or SLPA roles is a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students according to individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student communication goals
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports consistent with school and state guidelines
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs under an existing, well-structured schedule
