This role involves working full-time hours primarily on-site, providing speech therapy services across one to two school sites. Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) as an SLP preferred
- Experience working with school-aged populations, particularly high school students
- Familiarity with speech-language pathology in educational environments
- Experience in Teletherapy is an asset
- Complete understanding of caseload management in a school setting
- Background in pediatric speech therapy or healthcare environments is beneficial
- Certification or experience as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) within schools or healthcare can be considered
Location:
- Santa Clarita, California, serving one to two high school sites
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students following established protocols and individual education plans (IEPs)
- Manage a high school caseload with responsibilities spanning assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring
- Collaborate with school teams including teachers, administrators, and families to support student communication needs
- Begin work at 8:15 a.m. and finish at 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal educational and healthcare regulations
Employment Details:
- Full-time contract position through the current school year
- On-site service delivery only.
- Discussions about summer hours and contract renewal for the 2026-2027 school year will occur as the school year concludes
