This full-time speech-language pathologist (SLP) opportunity is based in Palmdale, CA, supporting students from kindergarten through 6th grade at a single school site. The role begins in March and extends through the end of the school year in June, with options to continue through summer and the following school year via contract renewal.

The position operates on-site and involves working with a moderate to severe caseload. Typical work hours range from 7:30-8:00 AM to 2:45-3:45 PM, with the potential to work up to 40 hours per week. You will join a collaborative team environment that includes two other full-time therapists on campus, providing a great support system for professional growth and student success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy services to K-6th grade students with moderate to severe needs
  • Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and communicate effectively with all stakeholders
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities as needed

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid SLP certification or certification in pediatric SLP, school-based SLP, CFY, teletherapy, or SLPA healthcare
  • Experience providing therapy in a school setting, ideally working with moderate to severe caseloads
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to provide on-site services consistently
  • Flexibility to participate in scheduled Zoom interviews Monday through Friday
