Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFY applicants encouraged
- Previous experience working in school settings preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively manage a diverse caseload at both elementary and high school levels
- Competence in assessment, producing IEPs, and implementing therapy strategies
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students according to IEP goals
- Administer screenings, assessments, and diagnostic evaluations
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Maintain thorough records, document therapy sessions, and contribute to IEP meetings
- Design and adapt individualized treatment plans
- Educate staff and families about speech-language disorders and intervention techniques
