- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP state licensure (or eligibility)
- Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC-SLP) or in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience working with pediatric and school-age populations, particularly in upper elementary settings
- Strong ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of speech and language disorders
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with teachers, support staff, and families
What You’ll Do:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to upper elementary students with diverse needs
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and other educational professionals to integrate therapy goals into students’ daily activities
- Maintain detailed documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and parent correspondence
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning for student success
- Offer support and resources to students, families, and school staff to foster effective communication skills
