Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students and teams in Washington and Greene Counties as an in-person Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time, onsite position runs from August to early June, offering two distinct placements with unique caseloads and school community engagement.
Key Skills & Experience Sought:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid Pennsylvania SLP Educator Certificate
- Experience working in school-based or pediatric SLP settings
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Flexibility with travel between multiple sites, as needed
- Commitment to making a positive impact in diverse school communities
What You'll Do:
- Provide speech-language services to a caseload of elementary students across assigned locations
- Conduct screenings, assessments, therapy sessions, and IEP meetings
- Develop treatment plans and monitor student progress toward IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement
- Participate in staff trainings and professional development
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Engage in a welcoming school environment where your expertise is valued
Position Specifics:
- 1 SLP based at Washington Park Elementary (training 8/13 & 8/14, students start 8/26, end date 6/3)
- 1 SLP serving multiple sites (training 8/13, 8/14, & 8/17; locations include Bethlehem-Center Elementary, Fort Cherry Elementary, and Waynesburg Campus; students start 8/20)
- Full-time M-F, 7:30 AM – 3 PM
- Onsite work essential; candidates must have reliable transportation and reasonable commute to all sites
