Speech and Language Pathologist - Huntingtown, MD
This contract position for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) offers opportunities to support students across several elementary and middle schools in Maryland. Serving at multiple schools with varying start dates, this role focuses on delivering high-quality speech therapy services in a school setting.
Located in Maryland, assignments include Warwick Elementary and North Dorchester Middle Schools (available immediately), as well as Choptank Elementary School starting April 1st. The contract extends through June 10, 2026, providing a consistent and meaningful placement within the school district.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Providing therapy services tailored to each student's needs, potentially including teletherapy as part of service delivery
- Maintaining thorough documentation and progress reports
Qualifications:
- Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist license is required
- Experience in school-based SLP services strongly preferred
- Ability to work effectively in both in-person and teletherapy formats
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Dedication to supporting student growth and success
