This contract opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving schools in the Jacksonville/Cabot, Arkansas area. This role offers flexibility with the option to work onsite or virtually, supporting students' communication and language development in a part-time capacity.
Position Details:
- Location: Jacksonville/Cabot, AR
- Schedule: Part-Time, approximately 24 hours per week
- Contract Duration: Late November 2026 through June 2027
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license appropriate for Arkansas
- Experience providing speech and language services in a school setting preferred
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapy skills for pediatric populations
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educational teams
Work Structure:
- Onsite option includes W-2 employment with a traditional benefits package
- Virtual option available as a 1099 independent contractor
- Virtual candidates must carry a minimum of $500,000 general and professional liability insurance
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and screenings to identify student needs
- Develop and deliver individualized treatment plans targeting speech, language, and communication goals
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy strategies as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school policies and state regulations
