Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students aged Pre-K to 5th grade, utilizing evidence-based practices
- Manage and maintain caseload efficiently in a school environment, with occasional childcare facility visits
- Ensure compliance with Medicaid billing procedures and documentation standards
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support students’ communication goals
- Deliver in-person therapy; virtual services are already covered and not part of this role
- Work independently without supervision of CFs or SLPAs
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience working in school settings with pediatric caseloads
- Proficiency in Medicaid billing and understanding related documentation
- Ability to adapt services to diverse student needs across multiple settings
- Strong communication skills and professionalism in all interactions
