A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in pediatrics to provide services in a school setting in Cottage Grove, MN. This role involves working with approximately 50 elementary-aged students across one or two school buildings.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to elementary-aged students according to individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with educational staff to support student communication goals.
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and therapy sessions.
- Participate in team meetings and parent communication as needed.
- Provide services under supervision if applied as a Clinical Fellow (CF).
Qualifications:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Experience or coursework in pediatric speech-language pathology.
- Ability to work effectively with school-aged children in educational settings.
- Open to Clinical Fellows with supervision provided.
- Reliable and professional work habits.
Schedule and Location:
- Contract duration: Now through June 5th.
- Daily hours: 7.25 hours per day.
- Work setting: One or two buildings in Cottage Grove, Minnesota.
