Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist in Saint Paul, MN
This opportunity is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) seeking part-time work in educational settings within the Saint Paul, MN area. The position offers 2 to 2 ½ days per week, supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade in public school environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide therapeutic services to approximately 12 students on caseload encompassing K-8th or K-12th grade buildings.
- Conduct speech and language evaluations to support student needs.
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports.
- Support and possibly assist in teletherapy sessions when necessary.
- Handle pediatric caseload within school and potentially healthcare contexts.
Desired Qualifications:
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology, with completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred.
- Experience with pediatric populations in school and healthcare settings.
- Familiarity with teletherapy delivery methods.
- Ability to conduct thorough evaluations and provide intervention.
- Flexibility to work part-time (2 to 2 ½ days per week).
- Willingness to consider qualified Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
