School Speech and Language Pathologist | Minneapolis, Minnesota
A contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Carver County, MN, supporting students at a school within the SW Metro ISD 288. This onsite role offers a 0.7 FTE schedule, approximately 26 hours per week, beginning in early February 2026 and continuing through early June 2026. There is potential to increase hours as needs evolve.
This position will involve covering a maternity leave and assisting in reducing caseload burdens for current staff. The role is ideal for an SLP with active Minnesota licensure who is passionate about delivering speech-language support in an educational setting and is interested in a positive, supportive environment.
Responsibilities will include:
- Conducting speech and language assessments and screenings
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Collaborating with educators and families to support student communication goals
- Documenting progress and maintaining accurate records
- Participating in team meetings and professional development as required
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Current Minnesota Speech-Language Pathology license
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working in schools or with school-based caseloads
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
