A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide comprehensive support in a K-12 school setting located in Lakeville, MN. This role involves delivering virtual speech-language therapy services and supporting a caseload of approximately 50 students. The position spans the complete school year (CSY), focusing on addressing the communication needs of a diverse student body.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver virtual SLP services for 40 hours per week, ensuring effective teletherapy sessions tailored to individual student needs.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders within the school-aged population.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes aligned with school policies and regulatory standards.
- Participate in professional development and team meetings to stay current with best practices and compliance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience in pediatric SLP and school-based therapy services.
- Ability to work effectively in a virtual teletherapy environment.
- Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent.
- Strong communication and organizational skills adaptable to a fast-paced K-12 school setting.
