School Speech Language Pathologist - Eden Prairie, Minnesota
A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support an elementary school setting in Eden Prairie, MN throughout the current school year (CSY). This role focuses on providing direct speech and language therapy services in alignment with individual student needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology highly desired
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in a school environment
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders
- Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educational teams
Responsibilities:
- Deliver evaluation and individualized therapy to students with speech and language impairments
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory and school policies
- Participate in meetings as needed, including Individualized Education Program (IEP) planning
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions appropriately
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
