Travel School-Based SLP | Buffalo, Minnesota
A travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for the 26/27 school year in Buffalo, MN, with options to begin Early Summer Yield (ESY) work or start at the beginning of the school year. This opportunity offers two distinct positions serving diverse age groups: Birth to 3 years old and Elementary-aged children, each with caseloads ranging from 40 to 50 students.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification (SLP - CCC, SLP - CFY, or SLP - School credential)
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in school settings
- Ability to implement a 3-in-1 service delivery model
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with families, educators, and interdisciplinary teams
- Flexibility to travel and adapt to new environments
Location & Schedule:
- Travel assignment based in Buffalo, MN
- School year commitment from September 1st to June 3rd, with ESY work available before school year start
- Positions available for both Birth-3 age group and Elementary age group caseloads
Responsibilities include:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Deliver therapy services using the 3-in-1 model, integrating individual, group, and classroom-based interventions
- Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals
- Adhere to school policies and state regulatory requirements
