Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to ensure comprehensive support for students.
- Provide services through multiple settings including traditional schools and teletherapy platforms.
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress notes in compliance with state and district regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) highly preferred.
- Experience working in pediatric and school-based environments.
- Comfort and proficiency with teletherapy service delivery.
- Recent graduates under Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) encouraged to apply.
- Ability to work independently in a travel role, adjusting to multiple school environments.
