Preferred Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLP license (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school-based SLP role highly valued
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes and implementation
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy to K-12 students according to their IEPs
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized goals based on student needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support teams to optimize each student's progress
- Document all services and progress accurately and in a timely manner
- Offer guidance and support to classroom staff regarding communication strategies
