School Speech Language Pathologist - Buda, Texas
Step into an engaging school setting just south of Austin, TX, where Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP - CCC) are invited to provide essential services to a supportive student community. This contract opportunity, available for the full school year from August 6th to May 28th, offers two immediate openings for dedicated professionals passionate about fostering student growth.
You'll work a consistent 37.5 hours per week in an on-site capacity, supporting a caseload of approximately 60 students across one or two assigned schools. Your preferences regarding elementary, middle, or high school placements will be thoughtfully considered to help you thrive in the best possible environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience in K-12 school settings preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt and address a variety of speech and language needs in students
- Commitment to staying up to date on best practices and compliance standards
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy for assigned students
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, educators, and families to support student progress
- Assess, develop, and implement IEP goals tailored to each student’s requirements
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation of services and progress
- Serve one or two local sites, depending on final assignment
